Privacy Policy

AI Ed (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a mobile learning platform offering courses in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Claude Code. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using AI Ed you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information — your name, username, email address, and (if you choose) a profile photo. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider. If you register with email, your password is handled and encrypted by Firebase Authentication; we never see or store it in plain text.
Profile details — optional information you provide during onboarding, such as your country, date of birth, phone number, and how you heard about us.
Learning activity — your course progress, completed lessons, XP, streaks, league standing, and certificates earned, so we can save your progress and personalize your experience.
Purchase information — when you buy the lifetime unlock, your purchase is processed by Apple. We receive a purchase/entitlement status from Apple and our payments provider (RevenueCat) to unlock content. We never receive your full payment card details.
Technical information — basic device and diagnostic information needed to operate the app reliably.

How we use your information

To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
To save and sync your learning progress across sessions and devices.
To unlock content you have purchased and restore prior purchases.
To operate features such as leaderboards, streaks, and certificates.
To improve the app and respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to run AI Ed:

Google Firebase — authentication, database (Firestore), file storage, and hosting. See Google’s privacy practices.
RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases and entitlements. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
Apple — processes payments for in-app purchases.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers and protected with industry-standard security. Some data is cached locally on your device so the app works offline.

Your rights and choices

Access & update — view and edit your profile information at any time in the app.
Delete your account — you can permanently delete your account and associated data directly in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. You may also email us to request deletion.

Children’s privacy

AI Ed is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
